Description

Squirrels are tree-scaling rodent animals. They injure and eat a wide range of plants, including ornamentals, fruits, and vegetables.

Damage

They severely damage trees and shrubs by chewing and stripping the bark and are a threat to flowers and vegetables by nibbling. Squirrels also seriously damage lawns because they are constantly digging up the garden in search of food or to store food.
