Lawn grub control is as simple as applying the Nema Globe Grub Buster to your lawn in early spring so the beneficial nematodes can begin their control over the grub population. Infection of these larvae allows for replication to begin and multiply so their population can grow and act as a biocontrol method throughout your lawn. How To Apply

Grub Busters® Instructions

Treats: Whitegrubs (May/June Beetles, European Chafer, Japanese Beetle and Masked Chafer) Billbugs, Flea larvae, Black Vine Weevils, and more

**Do not apply in full sun

When To Use:

In general, treat when larvae are present and actively feeding, usually from March until late June, and again in August through November (timing will vary by geographical location). Nema-globe™ nematodes are most effective at soil temperatures from 50°F- 86°F (10°C – 30°C). They are very susceptible to UV light and should be applied in the evening or on cloudy/overcast days.

How To Use:

Step 1: “Water Lawn”:

Grub Busters® Nematodes are best applied when the lawn is wet. Time your applications around rainy periods or water lawn prior to application.

Step 2: “Mix In Nematodes”:

Open bag and place pouches into the sprayer. Add water to the top of the sprayer and replace the lid. Shake vigorously to evenly disperse nematodes.

Step 3: “Attach & Spray”:

Attach garden hose to the sprayer and start spraying in the most affected areas of lawn or garden first, and complete spraying outwards to provide total nematode coverage. Keep area moist for the next 3 days (or a week in dry weather) to ensure nematodes are flushed down into the root zone where feeding grubs are present. After spraying is finished, dispose of the used pouches (it is normal for some leftover inert carriers inside the pouches).

General Application Tips:

  • Do not store open package (use all at once)
  • Agitate spraying solution often during application
  • Keep treated area moist for a minimum of three days (or one week in dry weather)
  • FOR BEST RESULTS use the Nema-globe™ Sprayer

Storage:

Nematodes are alive and should be released as soon as possible. Release: Follow simple 3 step procedure. Nematodes can withstand pressures up to 300 PSI.
