How To Apply

How to apply:

Ant Attack® INSTRUCTIONS

Treats: Common red and black ants in lawn and garden border areas.

*Do not apply in full sun

Covers: 1,000 sq.ft.

When To Use:

Nema-globe Ant Attack® is used to deal with an ant infestation. Nema-globe Ant Attack® is a dual-action control. The nematodes will attack and kill young ant larvae in nests and repel adult ants from building new nests in the treated area. Apply when ant activity is visible on top of the lawn or garden borders, this is typically in March through to October (application times will vary slightly by geographic region).

Apply to moist lawns when the soil temperature is above 50℉ (10 ℃) and water nematodes in well. Make sure the lawn or garden area does not dry out for at least 3 days to one week after applying nematodes. The ants do not tolerate the nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) near their nests and move their nests away from treated areas.

Nema-globe Ant Attack® is the organic solution to getting rid of ants in your garden, it is environmentally friendly and will not harm any pets, wildlife, birds’, bees, and is safe for children playing on the lawn.

Hose End Application

Step 1: “Water lawn or garden area”:

Nema-globe Ant AttackTM nematodes are best applied when treatment is moist. Time application around rainy periods or pre-water prior to application.

Step 2: “Mix in nematodes”:

Remove sprayer lid, open resealable bag, and place the pouch into the sprayer. Fill sprayer to the halfway mark. Shake vigorously to evenly disperse nematodes and replace lid.

Step 3: “Attach & Spray”:

Attach garden hose to sprayer and begin spraying. Start spraying in most affected areas first (e.g. Where ant hills are visible). Once nests are sprayed, continue to spray areas where you would like. To optimize performance: Keep the treatment area moist for the next 3 days (or 7 days during hot dry weather) to ensure nematodes are flushed into the soil where ant larvae are present.

Watering Can Application

  1. Open resealable bag and place pouch into the watering can.
  2. Use a complete package for one application.
  3. Add approximately 2 gallons (5 litres) of water into the watering can in water and leave the pouch in the mixture until the application is complete.
  4. Stir the mixture to ensure the nematodes are well mixed.
  5. Apply the solution to the area to be treated (16 nests).
  6. Apply an equal amount of water to the same area to make sure the nematodes are well washed in.
